Collection: Harald Sohlberg

Harald Sohlberg (1869–1935) was a Norwegian artist known for his atmospheric and almost mystical depictions of Norwegian nature, mountain landscapes, and winter motifs. He worked in the borderland between symbolism and national romanticism, and his paintings often convey a quiet, almost dreamlike atmosphere. One of his most famous motifs is the iconic winter landscape Winter Night in the Mountains, which has become a symbol of Norwegian nature art.
